ABOUT ME

Unlike many, I did not start drawing/painting when I was a child or teen. I also did not attend college for an art degree. I actually have an Associates in Science, Bachelors in Electrical Engineering and Masters in Automotive Engineering. So now you are probably questioning the whole left brain versus right brain theory, right? After working in Engineering for many years, I went back to school to obtain a degree in Interior Design. I took an elective class titled, “Intro to Design”. This class was not what I was expecting at all. It was more of an art class, but when you really think about it interior design and art have a lot in common. You have to consider, color, composition, placement, size, …… In the end, the professor told me I was very talented and that I needed to smile more!

I currently enjoy creating in acrylic, oil, mixed media, pastel, pen/pencil, acrylic ink, watercolor.…. basically anything I can get my hands on. I love color and typically let my art tell me where it wants to go.  This results in some interesting and thought-provoking pieces at times.
